An email will be sent to our google account that a resident has requested to join MYBOS.
Log into the MYBOS dashboard.
Click Resident Information Update Requests in the Items Requiring Action box on the Dashboard.
Uncheck any information that is not needed
Check Notify Resident By Email
Click Generate Username and Generate Password
Click Approve
The email will be sent to the resident
Now edit the Resident details and add the known details of the Owner or Managing Agent if needed. See https://support.mybos.com/knowledge-base/how-to-reset-resident-user-details
Whilst editing the Resident details, please add them to the correct Broadcast Groups for
Carpark Location
Level
Facade(s)
If they are a new Tenant or Owner, potentially contact them to ask when they will be moving in.

Notes:
When moving a Resident to an Investor, the Broadcast Groups for that person needs to be re-added. We can control to broadcast to only Residents or Residents and Investors within each Broadcast.
When a Resident moves out, click Archive, to maintain all their communication.
New Residents, Investors or Managing Agents can be added manually once the details are known.
Add any Notes relevant to that Resident or Apartment.
Log in to MYBOS Management Portal and click Broadcast in the top menu.
The left hand groups are automatic, based on details entered on the Resident's cards
The right hand groups are custom groups for residents that we need to communicate with based on
Level
Facade
Carpark Level
Click into each group to see who is in the group
Click Edit next to the group name to add or remove users from the group.
NOTES:
There are "residents" in the full list named TBA. Please ignore these.
Each new resident must be added to the correct broadcast groups
Moving a resident to an investor removes them from the broadcast groups, and they need to be re-added to the correct groups.
We can filter the custom groups by Tenants and Owners to only alert Residents or alert Residents and Owners

Before sending an email set your Signature. You can also create a Template for future broadcasts.
Select the Custom Group based on Level, Facade, or Carpark Level, or the default groups based on Residents or Owners
Optionally narrow down the Custom Groups to only include Owners or Tenants in the Custom Group
View the full list of individuals that the notification will be sent to, and whether they have email or SMS set up.
Decide if you are going to email or SMS or Mobile Push Notification
Enter the details of the notification and click Send.
Do the same for SMS and / or Push Notifications (unfortunately you have to select people to broadcast to again).
For the Sender on SMS please enter Rosny Committee or Rosny Tideways
NOTES:
The email will come from notifications-noreply@rosny.au please include the text in your signature to message the committee or email Tideways if they have any questions.
You can edit your default email signature on your Profile.
For Tideways please enter the Email Address from as enquiries@ or similar.
SMS will come from MYBOS and not your own number.
Only those Tenants and Owners that have registered on MYBOS will receive the notifications.
You can add images, links and formatting to Emails, but not to SMS.
You can Send now or Schedule Send.
Ensure that MFA is set up, with Email Verification
